Childhood Hunger
As many as 13 million US children face food scarcity and hunger on a regular basis. Thirteen million. Let that number sink in for a minute.
What does the future look like for these kids? Children from homes that struggle with food security are more likely to under perform or drop out of school. They are more likely to commit crimes and are more likely to be incarcerated.
No Kid Hungry works to stop this tragic cycle through school food programs, grants, advocacy and eduction.
